finding my tribe
This is my first blog on my new site so I really wanted it to be something inspiring and uplifting, but nothing seemed to come to mind. Then my doorbell rang and I received my morning mail and right on top of the stack was a package from my out of state friend, Terri. Terri is my friend that I met online in a jewelry group, but it goes soooo much deeper than online. Terri and I quickly became friends over a scandal we dubbed as cross-gate. You see Terri is special friendship gift that was placed in my life as a special time.....HIS TIMING. I can share anything with Terri and I know there will be no judgement just sister LOVE.
In a time such as we are now living finding your true friendships can be one of the hardest things we ever do. I often have this conversation with my girls that they will have friends that come and go because they were not meant to last a lifetime. But when they find that lifetime friend hold on tight because that is a tribe member. I choose the word tribe not because it's a cool trendy catch phrase on a shirt right now, but because tribes are tight like a sisterhood and wage war when needed. You have to hold tight to your tribe members.
